Connecting Salesforce

Depending on your needs, you may want to connect one or more orgs (instances) and/or one or more Git repositories. 

Connecting orgs

Connect orgs if you want to scan all your environments, including production. 

→ To connect an org

1. Create a connected app - configure the instance to control which data can be scanned by Quality Clouds.
2. Set up Salesforce orgs - define which instance to scan, and launch the first scan.
3. Test connectivity.

Connecting Git repositories

Connect Git repositories, if you want to scan your development and integration environments. You can also scan selected branches, using our Feature Branch. 

→ To connect a Git repository

1. Set up Salesforce Git repositories.
2. Test connectivity.
