Integrations

This view shows you the details on the web services defined for your instance.

You can use it for housekeeping purposed as well as to understand the instance configuration and compare it with other instances. 

Ways to use this view

  • If you're an architect, platform admin or a developer, here you can see how many external systems are interacting with your instance, the underlying protocols used, and the team members that created the connections.


What data is shown

The Integrations view shows the following information:


Widget 

The widget shows you the following elements:

  • SOAP messages: Simple Object Access Protocol. It is an XML-based messaging protocol for exchanging information among computers.
  • REST messages: REST Web Services make use of HTTP protocols as a medium of communication between client and server.
  • Integration plugins active in your ServiceNow instance. 

Graph - Integrations by date

The graph shows the the details of the integrations and their dates of creation 

You can hover over each area to see the exact detail and date.

Grid

Here you can see all the integration details, with its date of creation, type and the team member that enabled this connection.
