Licensing for Salesforce

Find out about all your org licenses, and their usage. 

Ways to use this view

If you're an administrator or a release manager, here you can do the following:

  • If you're a platform owner or an executive, here you can monitor your licenses/storage/API calls that can impact your direct platform cost.

What data is shown

The Licensing view shows the following information:

Total number of licenses

In the Licenses section, you can find the detailed information on your licenses in the org. 

Widget

The widget shows you the following information:

  • Licenses shows the total number of licenses in your org.
  • Inactive shows the number of inactive licenses in your org. These licenses have no impact on your license cost.
  • Frozen shows the number of users with frozen licenses in your org. These licenses do have an impact on your license cost, as this is a pre-deactivation state.
  • Logged users last 14 days shows the total number of users who have logged into the org in the last 14 days.
  • Not logged users last 2 weeks shows the total number of users who have not logged in into the org in the last 2 weeks.
  • The trend of licenses over time. 

Graphs

The graphs show you the following information:

Hover over the pie selection to see specific licensing info.

Total licenses

Here you can compare which type of licenses you have.

Inactive licenses

Here you can check which type of licenses are inactive.

Frozen licenses

Here you can check which type of licenses you have frozen. 


Trend - Licenses per type over time

See the trend of your different types of licenses over time.

 

Trend - % Used licenses per type over time

The graph shows you the evolution of the licenses used per type over time. 


Governor limit - storage

In the Governor limit - storage section, you can find the detailed information on your storage in the org. 

Widget

The widget shows you the following information:

  • Governor limit - storage shows the detailed information related to storage capacity.
  • Total storage available (MB) shows the total amount of storage available in your org (in megabytes)
  • Total storage used (MB) shows the total amount of storage used in your org (in megabytes). 
  • File storage available (MB) shows the amount of file storage available in your org (in megabytes)
  • File storage used (MB) shows the amount of  file storage used in your org (in megabytes). 
  • Data storage available (MB) shows the amount of data storage available in your org (in megabytes).
  • Data storage used (MB) shows the amount of data storage used in your org (in megabytes).  
  • The trend of storage over time. 

Graph - % File storage per department 

The graph shows you the evolution of the file storage per department over time. 

Hover over the graph to see details numbers by department.


The trends show you the information on the evolution of the used file and data storage (in MB). 

Governor limit - API calls

In the Governor limit - API calls section, you can find the detailed information on your API calls in the org. 

Widget

The widget shows you the following information:

  • Governor limit - API calls (last 24h) shows the detailed information related to the number of API calls allocated and performed.
  • Total allowed per day shows the daily limit of API calls in the org.
  • Current API calls shows the number of API calls from the last 24 hours. 
  • The trend of API calls over time. 

Graph - API calls over time

The graph shows you the evolution of API calls done daily.

Click the slider on top of the graph to Display total available calls per day
