Connecting Quality Clouds to Salesforce app 2.0

Before you can use the application, you need to establish trust between your Salesforce instance and the Quality Clouds API server. This is done by obtaining an API key from the Quality Clouds platform.

Note that before version 2.0 of the Salesforce application, a shared OAuth token was used to authenticate the application against the Quality Clouds API Layer. Now, the authentication and authorisation for API requests are implemented via the use of API Keys, which are assigned to individual users.

→ To connect the app

  1. Log into the Salesforce org.
  2. Click the App Launcher icon.
  3. Type in ‘Quality Clouds‘ in the search box.
  4. Select Quality Clouds App.
  5. A new window will appear with the name ‘Quality Clouds’.
  6. Click on ‘Setup‘.

    1. Successful: Instances are imported/updated.
    2. Connection successful: Connection with Quality Clouds established.
