Running scans

When working with DevOps, you have the option to launch scans automatically.

An automatic scan is launched when you commit a work item associated with a repository that has an instance in Quality Clouds. It is essential to have quality gates enabled to launch automatic scans.

If the scan is still running, you won’t be able to promote the item, and an error message will appear.

If the scan has finished, then it will be possible to promote the item.
